Think I found a new $1 MGM Grand post fire variation. TCR list 3 different $1 chips. 2 are pre-fire, and 1 post fire. Pre-fire chips are distinguished by the large "$' sign, while post fire chips are small "$" signs.

What I came across is a post fire, Long Cane version. TCR only list a Short Cane version post fire chip (N1908). The new found chip is shown on the top left of scan. Same looking lion as the Short Cane version.

Unlike the 2 pre-fire versions (N1907 & V7773), which I believe to be Christy and Jones chips (shiny hats), the new chip is NOT a Christy. Looks to me like a Burt Co, Long Hat & Cane.

On a separate note, I also noticed that the pre-fire and post fire chips have different shades of gray. All of the pre-fire ones that I have come across have a much darker gray color. (scan should show the shade differences).

Now I'm searching for a post fire with the "no space mane" on the lion. (like V7773, on bottom right).

Anyone have any other variations? LMK
