I bartended a while (several times) and am aware of the the servers/ establishments liabilities.
I still, however, find it appalling when people sue the entity with money - when unless there is clear negligence - when the responsibility should fall where it is due.

I am sure there are situations where liquor is served inappropriately, so I guess a place should "keep folks legal" and figure a way that no one can be served more than 1-3 beverages.
