Peter- I won't ask you to retract. There are indeed a few chips listed from the "closed brothels" series...clearly fantasy chips and should be labeled as such. But I have done business with Josh, and he's a good guy. IMHO,he should be under no further obligation to relist them until they make an appearance on the club's website under Fantasy chips...this would invalidate them as legit, and then I would say Josh should change the listing. But until that occurs, I can't say he's doing anything really wrong.
My wife got taken in New Orleans for $$$ a few years back while trying to get me a gift. The seller told her they were from "Indian Casinos" but they were in reality the PaulSon Indian fantasy series. Caveat emptor..or as Archie says, buy the book before you buy the chip.
The others do seem to have come from brothels- they have phone numbers, web addresses etc. So, forgetting about the fantasy ones, the solution to the listing is as follows:
In Josh's last reply to you, he wrote:
"My site states that some are used on premises while others are sold as novelites."
The website actually says:
"All chips are used in the Nevada Brothel's below. Some of the establishments use them for free drinks while others sell them in their gift shop."
...so he should ad the words (sold in the gift shops)...as novelties.
That should clear things up...at least until the CCGTCC website updates the fantasy category. Meanwhile, people should, as Janice stated, be free to collect what they like.
