I am in the process of reading the posts from last night but thought I would offer these thoughts and observations to your original post.

First, it does look like the same image except his is very fuzzy in comparison. This raises the question, How large is the image you posted on your auction. His is 400x300. It could be that he took your image and enlarged it. That is why you want to use smaller images on the web so that people can't use them. Digitized and digital images do not enlarge very well.

I would let eBay know of this and email them the original CLEAR SHARP IMAGE. Express that you believe that not only did this guy steal your image and use it, he placed his own name on it. That would be even worse to me. I understand that, at least in the past, eBay has taken the issue of stealing images from other ebayers very seriously.
