The temporary outage at Jackpot is due to a severed T1 line at our main server. This damaged T1 line is affecting literally hundreds of websites throughout the country. Both our main site, and the mail server have been affected.

Everything within our means is being done to correct this matter. We, like many other sites affected, are at the mercy of the Bell South technicians. Bell South has assured us that everything will be back to normal shortly.

We have received several calls and emails from users concerned about the impact this will have on our MOC2 contest. Many of which expressed that this un-scheduled downtime has adversely affected their ability to acquire points. I have called an emergency meeting to decide what measures, if any will be taken.
