someone hit the nail on the head in an earlier post...
I appears this virus does not necessarily come from the "source" it appears...
This virus we have been all being hit appears to attach to the infected person's address book...
and send the infected emails from names in that book, not from the name of originating infected system.

Therefore, whoever has the virus, probably had correspondence with Dick - but Dick does NOT have the infected system. (does that make sense?)
