Yes I went to Jackpot. Had a blast at the Horseshoe playing craps. They did a fill for me so I could get $5 in their .25 that they don't use anymore. I had to wait & when I went back the guy was gone but the chips were on the table. The new guy said they could not sell them as don't use them. A few minutes later they tracked the 1st guy down & I got the chips. The cage gave the big story about gaming commission laws & not aloud to sell chips at the cage etc.
Nothing new there.
I tried to get an old Horseshoe slot card but none available. It is now them & Cactus Pete's as one card.
I picked up all the $100's from Jackpot & Wendover. Luckily Wells doesn't have one. Model T in Winnemucca will not sell one.
You went about the same routes we did. We went through Carson to Gardnerville & Minden then back to Carson & down to Yerington. Not many towns left that I would say are booming. Well Elko because of the mining. 50,000 in the area now with Spring Creek. No more live games there at the Scoreboard for a couple years now. Sad to see Tonopah so dead. Station House should reopen under Jim Marsh end of this month. I will have some Grand Opening chips to sell.
The only new chip I heard of was the Bill's Tahoe $1 but did not get there as went to the Nor Cal Nev chapter meeting in Reno. It was a blast! Todd Dingley really runs a great meeting. Lots of fun & tons of chips.
