Ever wonder how many chips it would take, placed edge to edge, to make a chip-line 1 mile long? No? Well, I’m going to tell you anyway. 44,551.
In the spirit of the season I also figured out how many chips it would take to equal a furlong. 5069.

CHIP MATH uses a standard Paulson casino chip for all calculations. The chip is in good condition, but has seen table play. The chip’s dimensions are: 1 9/16” diameter, 1/8” thickness.
