Yes, I've finally been infected with a contagious virus after 15 years of good health. I received a message with a couple of attachments, one a .htm which was a link to some older messages on this board, and the other a .scr file. I opened them, thinking these could do no harm.... wrong! The screensaver file infected my desktop with the Klez worm, the most recent and most contagious of the new diseases. If you get messages from me, don't open any attachments till I get this fixed.

This worm's payload even disables my Norton Antivirus programs, so I can't fix the problem, and it prevents me from reloading Norton... Looks like a reformat and reload of everything. I spent an hour on the phone with Norton and there doesn't seem to be an alternative. This thing even louses up data files!!!! BEWARE
