are you speaking of getting LE chips.

I just came from Las Vegas. If you are talking normal one dollar chips and coins, I had no problems getting from Tropicana, Mandalay Bay or Harrahs.

They might not have been terribly clean, but I was able to go to the cage and not get any flak from casiers.

I did have one cashier tell me I needed to go to the tables to get chips. But, as soon as I mentioned that I wanted them for souvenirs she said ok. She even hunted for some nice ones. I forget which casino where that happened. I got chips from 18 casinos one there strip.

In fact once they found out I wanted chips for souvenirs, most cashiers hunted for nice chips to give me.

Again the ones from Tropicana, Mandalay Bay and Harrahs were a bit on the dirty side.

But, nothing a little cleaning won't fix.

Next time I know to ask for clean ones from those casinos. Perhaps that is all it will take.

Also keep in mind this was during the weeks and in the daytime.

None of the cashiers were really busy. Maybe that is part of it. Not going at busy times expecting a cashier to sort through a bunch of chips to find nice ones when there is a line of 5 people behind you.
