Taking one or two is not a problem at many places because that is the quantity that is normally given as a tip to the cocktail waitress. When the waitresses are busy they don't cash them if right away so if a few are mising the dealer doesn't think anything of it. If you try to take 7 like I do then don't stand around and wait for them to ask for them back.
