By understanding is that the teal colored $1 chip was originally a back-up chip and somehow only a few found there way into collectors hands making this a rare chip. Recently the the casino put the backup chip out on the tables. I think that the original chip is still out there also. So lucky me, I bought a once rare chip for over $40 and now it is a common currently in use chip that is worth only a buck or two.
