There are NOT 5400 club members in the club. While the membership numbers are currently being assigned in the 5400's, many former club members are no longer active and their membership numbers have been retired. Last I heard, club membership was in the neighborhood of 2700 paid-up members. If only half that number would purchase a $5 ticket on a chance to win... this slot card drawing would generate close to $7000.... 1000 tickets sold would generate $5,000.

Secondly, I don't believe that I've heard or read what the proceeds of this auction will go towards ... other then into the "club treasury". I would like to suggest that the entire proceeds from this slot card auction be earmarked for the newly established club building fund under Jim Kruse's Chairmanship.... and I will formally submit that proposal to the Board of elected officers.
