I agree with Larry, but when I have a chip on eBay and the shipping is included, there's no hidden charge. I don't usually charge for shipping, it just makes things easy all around. Last good chip I sold was shipped UPS insured, no charge to the buyer.
Maybe someone can save me some money. I ship one chip and put a 34c on it under 1 oz. Over that it's 57c for 2 oz. When they hit 3 oz I slap on an 80c stamp.
I get chips coming in and the postage is 45c, right from the postal meter at the USPS. What am I doing wrong?
As for the original message in the thread. Mark me a skeptic. Lets say the seller has a stack of $1 tokens. All he does is write to all bidders and say the winning bidder didn't come through, I'll sell it to you for $1. Then he tacks on $3 shipping? Give me a break.
For anyone interested, I'll sell you all the $1 tokens or current chips you want for $4 each. This doesn't smell right.
