The Monte Carlo is my favorite hotel-casino on the Strip. It's less luxurious than Mandalay Bay but has everything you need - sports book, good buffet, excellent brew pub (be sure to try the garlic chicken pizza), great swimming pools and an outstanding location. The only thing lacking is chipper-friendly personnel at the cage.
