I started in this hobby to collect some chips. I wound up with a collection far more valuable - friends with the same interest. It's the friendships that keep the hobby fun.

Sometimes reading this board, it's easy to think that everybody hates everybody and the hobby is falling apart. Then I go to events like Rene's show last January or the NCN meeting yesterday, and there are my friends, still having a great time. And only a month and a half to Convention! Woo-hoo!!!!

While some use this board to vent their frustrations, and others sometimes take pleasure in disrupting, it's still an incredible tool to bring chippers from all over the world together into a family. Thanks again, Greg, for the generosity to provide this forum, and the wisdom to let it be.
