Restored isn't exactly the term I'd use, but we'll discuss euphamisms for deception another time. I don't have a problem with removing HS cancellations from one side but you'll not be able to sell it to me, I only want chips with their history intact. When cancellations start being removed from chips it only ruins the value of the whole series of chips and this includes the chips in a series that may have been collected without cancellation. Here's a chip that is genuine except a board gadfly says that all these chips were cancelled but some had been altered and the cancellation removed. Kinda ruins the nicety of having a good chip when collectors start goofing around with cancellations and others can't resist giving opinons about chips they know nothing about.
