Don,
I didn't see a bid from you on the Rex, that's why I thought you might have one. My husband and I don't remember ever seeing a Rex before...so I'm very curious as to how many might be out there. We prefer full books, also, but we'll take covers 'til we can find a full one!
Any idea on the value of a full, unstruck, excellent condition book from the Cal Neva? Front: Pine cone logo, black background, a green banner that says "Cal-Neva Lodge" in red. Gold printing says "On the shores of Lake Tahoe" Back: A picture of the lodge, gold printing says "Cal-Neva Lodge The Castle in the air" Spine: green printing says "Washoe County P.O. Crystal Bay, Nev.
Made by the Ohio Match Co., San Fransisco, Cal. a 20-match book. No printing inside. The only condition problem is that the gold printing is a little worn or faded (or possibly tarnished-hard to tell on the black backgroud).
We got it as part of a package deal, and it's a very attractive book...I'd guess pretty old, since it has the pine cone logo. Sorry, just have one, no traders.
Thanks for your help,
Pam
