information on a shuttle that runs between the strip and downtown...but I don't remember where! It was probably in one of those Las Vegas info magazines....I think the shuttle was free. Maybe a bell hop or the hotel concierge would have information??

You must go downtown at least once to see the free light show at the Fremont Street Experience. There's often concerts or other free entertainment also.

At the Las Vegas Club, downtown, there's a bank of progressive nickle VP's right next to the slot club booth. Double bonus, I think....can't remember for sure, I've only played em about 1000 times... . I hit 2 royals in one day on that bank!! And it happened to be my wedding day! They also have 5¢ progressive jokers wild and deuces wild machines...those are next to the keno lounge. Those joker machines are where I hit my first progressive royal, about 5 years ago...it was $868, and I've been hooked on 5¢ progressives ever since!!
