I tried the service on a spam post that has been coming through lately. Our servers have not been able to id the source. This couldn't either. Had a student two years ago abuse a list service with a phony post; couldn't even catch that person. So for student/faculty class lists, now use a different soft ware package. Let us know if Pete's suggestion works for you.
