First of all let me say that these chips were made according to guidelines set by the convention chairman. the original chip amounts were thought to be plenty based on previous years chip disbursements. as per direction from the club president, we are trying to get a greater total of most of the chips made. it has not been an easy project trying to get this many casinos to agree to this. most casinos were not even willing to speak about getting chips done for our 10th convention. the rules will be as follows-----1] the chips are to be released on wednesday at noon of the convention week. 2] there will be a limit of 4 $5 chips per person. 3] any chips left on sunday will be fair game for anyone. the casinos producing chips have been very helpful. 4] regarding the hard rock ncv chips--the reason they are requesting a $15 purchase for each chip is because the chippers tied up their gift shop last year getting the chips. at least they will get some sales out of it. it is still a very nice gesture. a lot of people have worked very hard to make these chips possible and i am very disappointed to see all the negativity. please look at the positive. [10] casinos are making cc>cc chips this year to collect. break up into 4 groups of 2 and hit 2 casinos each and divide the chips. have a great convention. i hope to see all of you there.
