I think the original intent of the poster was to come up with a way to turn free plays or coupons into cash. If that's the case, betting a coupon is not the same as betting your own money.

You're right... betting every possibility on the table will not make a profit. The payoff schedule will see to that. Doesn't change the fact that there is a strategy that will let you convert free chips or coupons to cash without risking your own money.
