The "why bother" was a rhetorical question. Sometimes we don't have a choice in what the casinos decide to do. For example, last year I wanted the Hard Rock to put out 1000 chips that went to 750. Then no one at the Hard Rock was willing to fund the project. Warwick was behind us but unless someone was going to pay for it, it wasn't going to happen. When we got 500 I felt bad that not all the dealers would receive coupons and even some volunteer didn't get them. But the one person who came through for us was the retail director, Krista Tye. I mention this because, like other casinos, we can't tell them what quantities to make and how to distribute them. We can only make suggestions and hope they listen. I felt the $15 purchase was certainly equitable, even though I suggested 1 chip for $10 purchase and 2 for $20. Now if we could only get them to bring back silverstrikes.
