I think the idea of the 10 chips is great! I thought the Hard Rock last year was terrific too and I thought the way it was handled was splendid. My feeling is as long as there is an opportunity for those who really want to get these chips to get them there is no problem. If someone doesn't want one bad enough to spend $15 at the Hard Rock gift shop, so be it. Give (or sell) your coupon to another collector. If you're a dealer sharing a table and aren't the one who is getting the pre-reg packet, then send in your bucks to pre-register if you want the goodies. Not driving to the convention? Rent a car (maybe split one with some other chippers that want to go around to the casinos) or bum a ride from someone that has a car. As far as dealer's losing business because some chippers are chasing down these chips, my feeling is Las Vegas has more diversions than anywhere in the world, it is unrealistic to expect most chippers to spend every second the dealer's room is open inside it. Or do some think maybe we should ask the Trop to close their pool during the time the dealer's bourse is open to make sure no one has the nerve to take a break from buying chips to take a swim?
