I am disappointed that the Hard Rock needs the $15 purchase just to get the "free" chip but I guess that it is a choice that each individual will have to make. I guess owning a HR T shirt wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Then again, after the first 400 chippers go thru you may need to buy the last $159 HR Jacket just to get your free chip.
