Some of the match-play coupons now say "no offsetting bets". I've never challenged this but suspect it would prohibit the 'one on red, one on black' bets. You can probably do the same with win-card chips. You'd have to read the booklet that comes with the chips to see if they address the point. I think that since these are small-potatos bets, the casino won't much care what you do.
