TCR lists 3 examples of a grey, $1 MGM Grand chip. Two are pre-fire and one post-fire. All 3 are H&C. The two pre-fire chips are both Long Cane Versions, while the post-fire is the Short Cane Vesrion. At the Antique Fair today I picked up what looks to be the post-fire version, based on the TCR description of large and small lion heads and dollar signs.

Well, I happen to have a second post-fire $1 chips, again based on the lion head and dollar sign sizes, BUT it is a Long Cane Version. Unfortunately it is imbedded in lucite, and poor job at that, so I have not scanned them.

Allan, could it be that there are two versions of the post-fire, just as there are two version of the pre-fire, but the difference is LCV vs. SCV?
