You are talking about the Casino Legends Hall of Fame. Although billed my the Tropicana as a museum, Steve Cutler runs the place as as a HOF. In fact, this coming April 12th (Friday) there will be another HOF induction ceremony that will include Las Vegas Mayor, Oscar Goodman and five or so other dignitaries from the Las Vegas scene.
Occassionally, the Tropicana issues a commemorative chip to coincide with someone's induction, and has also issed several LE's to denote the HOF's GO. I will be in attendance at the next induction ceremony and, if you are in town, it is open to the public. I will caution you that you need to be there early and that once seating has filled, excess persons are turned away.
Just outside the HOF is a casino memorabilia gift shop, owned and operated by Rich Burgel.
Lastly, you do not need the coupon to get in to the HOF. Steve allows (and encourages) all Club members to enjoy free entry with their Club Membership card! Just another perk of membership!
And yes, you do not want to miss this display of casino memorabilia from across Nevada. From the chips, to the ashtrays, to the freebie handouts, to the entertainers, to the owners, etc., etc., etc.
Be there!
Jim
