eBay "issue"

I have an eBay issue. Just want to vent a little and make a suggestion. Here's the story...

About a week ago I sold a chip on eBay. I emailed the winning bidder my standard payment instructions which include the offer of a 5% discount on the total if payment is made with a USPS Money Order. (I "borrowed" this idea from Steve Goodrich. Well worth the %5 for the piece of mind. No bounced checks.) Yesterday I received payment in the form of a USPS Money Order. The winning bidder used his nickname or company name on the money order: "Joe's Chips". (Not the real name, but you get the idea.) He also used "Joe's Chips" on the return address on the envelope. He DID NOT enclose his real name in any sort of cover letter or note in the envelope. Last night I politely emailed him and requested his name. I pointed out that as he DECLINED THE INSURANCE OPTION I was/am not comfortable sending a chip in a package addressed to "Joe's Chips". I haven't received a response. Due to my schedule I have to mail this package tomorrow or wait until next Friday. Does anyone want to bet that this chip never gets to the winning bidder? "Gee, casino chips are a hot collectible. I wonder what's in this bubble mailer addressed to 'Joe's Chips'?"

OK, I've vented. Thanks for listening. Now here's my suggestion... When mailing chips don't use a return address, name, or anything that suggests chips. I've seen return address stickers with pictures of chips on them. I suggest you discontinue the use of these stickers. The USPS is chock full of honest, hard working, decent folks just like us. But, there are a few thieves. Why take a chance?
