Thought I'd mention ....St. James Casino is kinda interesting....
The casino opens at 8:30pm. Its on the oppostie side of the island from the tourist area (St. Johns) So unlike the Kings Casino, which is open during the daytime, the you would have to rent a car, or hire a cab to get there at night. Cabfare to St. James is $40.00, and of course you will have to wait quite a while to the the return cab because they have to come all the way from St. Johns. As for the rental car...well all I can say is it was an adventure driving in the daytime..and downright insane at night.
Imagine this if you will;
-You drive on the left side of the road
-The steering wheel is on the right side of the car
There are no street signs (except in downtown St. Johns)
-There are no street lights
-The roads are covered in pot holes
-There are no lane lines or edge lines
-There are goats EVERYWHERE (and they have no fear of cars)
-The local drivers have no fear of oncoming cars
and pass anytime and anywhere they please
-speed limit is 40 Kmph, but the locals all, drive 60-70! even at night!
