I'm gonna get on my soap box for a minute. When's the last time you saw the wrong side favored in a Final Four game? Consider this: From a point 5 minutes into the game until 5 minutes were left, Maryland outscored Kansas by 31 points, with their MVP of the East Region sitting on the bench virtually the whole time - yet Kansas was favored in the game. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Maryland had the best team speed, the best depth, the best money superstar, the most veteran leadership, the Final Four experience from last year, the better coach, the better free throw shooting - but Kansas was favored. A textbook case of public perception setting a sucker line, IMO. Maryland should have been 3. They are better at every position, and deeper. Maryland also had the intangibles working for them. Wrong favorite. Yes, I made a killing.
