Ok everyone. Here is the scoop and the conditions of sale.

But before I go into the details, I want to take a moment to express a thought about this most wonderful hobby. I truly hope it is not misunderstood.

I love collecting chips and as hard as some people might believe, I enjoy getting them for others as well. This is why I usually sell my chips--even low-valued obsoletes--for face value.

But this enjoyment of selling chips at face to people who take advantage by not recipicating in kind, is going to stop.

Ross Poppel has been kind enough to set up a web site which can be accessed by going to http://www.poppel.com/subscribe.htm which in turn will give one access to over 25 people who are willing to sell CURRENT chips at face value to other participants.

Please keep in mind that people on the list are not dealers who derive a portion of their income from a new chip service but just collectors who might or might not live in an area serviced by a lot of casinos. Some live in an area 500 miles or so from home. Some can get chips, some can not. But this is not what I mean by recipication. If you can't get any chips so be it.

The problem occurs when and if one does get current chips and then sells them at over face value to someone else but in turn is accepting someone elses chips at face value.

So what I have done with this new shipment of chips is to establish a two-tier price list.

As those of you who participated in the last shipment of chips are aware, I have resold these chips at my cost, including shipping charges from Russia to my house, Western Union transfer charges plus $1.00 shipping or actual cost, whichever is more.

I will do the same thing with this new shipment, BUT ONLY FOR THOSE THAT ARE WILLING TO ABIDE BY "THE CHIPS FOR FACE" AGREEMENT. For all others, an additional assessment of $2.00 per chip will be assessed.

That comes out to be about 273 chips split unequally to those that want them.

But that is just the start of it. Tomorrow night when I get back home (from a hopefully enjoyable tournament experience at San Pablo ) I was promised the second group of chips from Russian cities other than in Moscow and some Egyption chips.

In other words, were going to have a lot to choose from but quantites may stay low for some chips.

I have scans of the above chip but the file was too large and couldn't fit on Greg's board. Sorry.

First come, first serviced (but preference is given to those on the chip for face list.)

I do not as yet have physical possession of the chips but can get them on a couple of days notice. I just want to wait until I have comfirmed orders before I give the go ahead.

Money is not necessary up front but please be forewarned. I WILL NOT GUARANTEE SHIPMENT OF THESE CHIPS. One order was lost in the mail in the last bunch.

I will respond to the orders as received when I get them. Either e-mail or the BB is fine.

Oh yes, I received word from my service provider that they are moving offices and I might be out of contact for a day or two.

One more item. These chips are are not the same as the last bunch. There all from new casinos.
