LAS VEGAS, March 29, 2002

A brush fire is burning in the southeast part of the Las Vegas valley. A huge plume of black smoke is billowing into the air this afternoon. Fire officials say the fire is moving slow and right now is only a brush fire. It's in the wetlands area behind Sam Boyd Stadium.
