Anyway, I've not spoken to my boss yet, but when I told him that at least 500 chips would "walk", I don't think he believed me! I think I remember a previous post about the Palms, stating 20,000 of theirs had "walked" already!
Actually, we do use the tokens on the BJ tables. The chips were supposed to be just for the crap table.(Ever tried dealing craps with silver?)
One thought that crossed my mind was that some people might think I was trying to create a monopoly by making collectors go through me to obtain the chips. If that was the case, I would have charged at least $3 a chip. All I saw was a unique opportunity to increase my collection. Not my fault the GM panicked when our supply got low!!!!
Actually, I think it's quite funny! A Las Vegas casino running out of chips! I think there is a good chance that he will order more, and all the fuss will die down. I'll keep you all posted - if I'm still there!!!
