After reading all of the messages here and on the Club Board, I am too bleary eyed to write my opinion. But what I feel is best expressed by Doc Myers and I hope Allan does not mind my repeating his comments here. The message was pretty buried in a long thread.
I thank the Board for their efforts whether or not I agree with the outcome. Try putting yourself in their place.

Yes, Scott, we all have a right to disagree and to express our opinions. However there are different ways to express our opinions. Nate, Neal and Marty were elected members of the board of our club and deserve some respect. You or anyone else who have different opinions of how the club should be run, can run for election, if nominated at the proper time. However the job is not an easy one. These board members do not make a huge salary from our club. The fact is that they are not paid at all, unless you want to count the expense money to attend the convention in June. They are serving out of love for our hobby and our club.
We members should show appreciation for the many hours they perform and to thank them for what they are doing. I sincerely hope that Marty Kaplan rescinds his decision to resign. We need you,Marty. Come back!!! Scott, I feel that you owe the Board of Directors an apology. We all try to make the right decisions. Sometimes we err in our choices and have to correct them. I feel that our officers are trying to make the right choices for our club. As I wrote initially, there is more than one way to express your opinion or disagreement. Your choice was not a good one. If you wish to beat up on me too, it's OK. I can take it and I will show you a lot more respect than you have shown to our officers."
