The negligence and incompetence came from the announcement that the BOD had the report on the Brass Core investigation but was withholding the information until the next issue of the CCTN. The negligence is being privy to sensitive information that could prevent a collector from being caught buying a fake or counterfiet and withholding that information.

If you have information you have a responsibility to get the information out to the members. These BB's are the greatest medium we have available for sharing information and I for one am getting tired of the excuse that all members are not online.
The incompetency goes along with the negligence. If you are competently performing your duties as board officers than you would not withold the information for 90 days. By reading your post on the club board I see that now you are going to post the report, this would indicate to me that the BOD is listening and is willing to co-operate with what we want. Was there a shock factor in my post? yes but unfortunatley from what I see it is needed when trying to deal with you. You will also make note that I made reference to the slabbing issue that you rolled over on also. As it is Nate if you are comfortable doing your work as you see fit then the crirticism shouldn't affect you, if however you are not comfortable with the decisions than you will have to deal with it, also remember you were elected to your position and that in itself carries a responsibility to your voting members.
It was not my intention to see a board member resign and I find it hard to believe that I am soley resposible for his resignation but if it makes anyone feel better I can take the heat on that. Lets not forget how many volunteers resigned there positions at the convention due to the slabbing issue! but I guess that is ok cause they weren't on the BOD
Further, by the amount of positive e-mail and support I have received with regards to my post I am not the only person that feels this way but merely the one who said what needed to be said and the next time the BOD has a decision to make with regards to sensitive issues I trust they will remember these issues.
