I was in Las Vegas earlier this week. I talked to a supervisor in the cage at Caesars and she showed me some $100 chips (horseshoe mold) from the Horseshoe. I asked her about them and she said that Caesars tried to cash them in at the Horseshoe and were told they were counterfeit. She had 5 or 6 of them. I asked her whether I could buy any but she said they were holding them as evidence in case they found out who used them at Caesars. Many casinos will take other casino's chips if you are playing. That is how they got them; from a player.
Anyone else hear about any counterfeit chips?
I thought it was interesting that there are some being passed at casinos.
