If someone buys a large quantity of chips and puts a scratch on them, how is the cage supposed to not honor the chips? I agree with what everyone is saying. It's a low thing to do, but the cages are looking more for stolen checks, forged checks and counterfeit money. Chips get scratches if they're in use on the tables. There's no getting around it. Unless this guy is just gashing the chips up?
