Also, if you elect to use your own car insurance (rather than pay Alamo for insurance) and you have an accident, Alamo will no longer bill your insurance company. Alamo will bill you (or your credit card) for repairs and for the car being out of service. You will have to be reimbursed by your insurance company.

We lived dangerously and didn't pay for their insurance. Luckily, we didn't have any claims! Still, no more Alamo for us!!
