As an eBay seller, I always treat buyers the way I want to be treated when I am the buyer.

So, when my auctions end successfully, I print 2 copies of the eBay ad page.

I put one copy in my sales record book.

The second copy is put with the item.

When payment arrives, I record the payment information (date rec'd, payment method, check number, etc.) on my copy of the ad. When I mail the item, I get a receipt from the post office and attach it to my copy of the ad. This enables me to track shipments.

The buyers copy of the ad is always included in the box or envelope with the item.
