The show was good. Bought a bunch of chips...I traded a bunch of chips. I got to finially meet a few people that i have only had the opportunity to see here before meeting them. And even made a few new friends (well at least until they get to know me better)
Had the opportunity to trade with Monte and Paul, and Rick, and even the elussive Bob Stoops. It wasnt easy to find anybody since I didnt know anyone by face. Luckily, after lunch, I found a couple of blank name tags in the hall left over from a meeting in one of the rooms. Sooooo...I wrote out "Let's Trade" on one...and stuck it on my back. One the other i put in the front.
It wasnt too long until Monte found me. I heard he's like a bloodhound when it comes to finding a trade. Next thing I know, Paul found us just as we were about to hit the lobby and start trading. Bob and Rick arrived right after...and then the chips were flying. I think all of us came away with quite a few spots filled.
The Show was in the pool area of the Holiday Inn which was called the Holidome. Nice little area, except for a bit too warm once the sun came out and began to heat things uop throught the sky lights. But it gave the show a bit of a tropical feel.
There were about 11 or so dealers (hope i dont leave off anybody)
