Usually rack chips will go up in value after becoming obsolete unless the entire rack or a good percentage, comes on the market. If the supply is destroyed by the casino, they will usually go up, $1 chip to 6.00, $5 to 10-15.00, $25 to 50.00 and $100 to 150.00. Most LE chips will not increase in value due to the numbers released. There are some exceptions such as popular casinos like the Hard Rock and very low issue numbers on some recent chips by Tropicana, Four Queens, O'Sheas, etc.
