From an old to a new.....
In Response To: A NEW NUMBERING SYSTSEM ()

I remember a few collectors complainingg about the new codes in Dale's revised work... as I, too, was wondering why a change since so many collectors had the original codes in place. Then, afer reading the book section (part) by section, I stumbled upon the preface to the edition and read: "....I had to create a new coding system for chip identification. Collectors who have been using the codes from the first edition may begrudge recording, but the new system should handle all future finds in every chip category."
