I've got ya beat on the tri-lobe cal-neva Barry. I found two of them at a local estate sale for 15 cents each. Kept one and sold the other on ebay for around a hundred bucks. It helped pay for these two which were not 15 cents each. On a side note I went to pull these out of the case they were in this morning and they had semi fused to the varnished bare wood surface. Very bad idea I'm lucky big chunks of paint didn't come off. They're all coming out and felt going down this weekend. I heard a rumor a year or so ago that Bill Judge was going to do an updated ashtray book. I sure wish someone would, the number of beautiful and rare trays that have shown up since Art Anderson's book is substantial. The author would probably want to contact Larry Miller who used to be tough to beat on eBay and super sniper Cameron who has a nice collection and an even nicer lighter collection which I covet very much.
I did get lucky this month and found two nice trays I didn't have for $20 each which I thought was a steal. Well, gotta go get some more coffee.
