As my collection has grown and I've been adding more and more chips, I have observed a real need for identification numbers for many many locations. How do we know which chips we have for sure without out a specific identifier. Especially with new racks coming out from this place and that place. Do we merely say: "old one" and "new One"? Heres a few places just to start that we need to address:

California Card Rooms
Florida Chips
South Dakota chips
Colorado Chips
Cruise Ships
Canadian chips

Illegal chips

I know Greg has the intent of adding South Dakota and the indian casinos for Florida. I would assume he is planning to create CG numbers to go along with his new additions to the chip guide.

Both Greg Susong and Archie Black have give chipping a huge ability to track, identify and inventory our chips. I don't know if we the chippers of the world have ever given them the the huge bag of Kudos they they so deserve.

We ALL know the hundreds and hundred of California Card Room chips. We need a number system for identifying these chips similar to what the "The Chip Rack" has done for Nevada chips. I think once this has been done all the chippers in the world will stand up and cheer.

We need somebody to come forward and say: YES, I will do it! I will number all the chips with my own special number! I will gladly accept the huge Fame and fortune and be remembered forever as the person that did the numbers for all the California Card Room chips!!

I also see a huge number of Canadian chips. Canada is so close to the USA and so many of us go there and gamble there and collect chips from there. We really need the same thing for those chips.
I dont nearly have the chips, or experience or knowledge on any group of chips to do it myself. So really I'm asking those of you who specialize in an area that needs ID number---please...get busy! We need it bad!
