I began to catalogue before I learned Excel and before the College provided us with MSWord. So I put my entire collection on WP and it is still there. However, little by little I have been doing two things. One with my Nevada, AC, South Dakota, Colorado & AC chips I have them on Excel which has tremendous advantages (among other things it can total costs & values) and on CheckMate@. The latter program permits you to enter the image of the chip as well as information. If it had been available when I began collecting would have everything up on it--now just have my Colorado and South Dakota chips there.

In my inventory I put the following information:
Code (if there is one); Name of Club; City & State; Description of design, mold & center inlay; # in collection; value (using TCR letters; condition, denomination; & cost. With Excel and more space I can put in collection information such as who sent me the chip and I can show that chips were traded--to whom & from. I'll send you a copy of my Excel sheet if you want.
