Harrahs Cherokee in North Carolina apparently got approval to run an almost live game so they ordered 12 Digital BJ machines that require a dealer to pay off the wins. The game is still digital but basically no different than a regular BJ game with a six deck shoe. %$#^&*&^$$# Machine even shuffles every few decks. Rules suck - double on 10 or 11 only and no double after split. So anyway on to the good news. As of 12:00 noon today they opened the tables and started using chips for the first time. I left work early and drove 2 1/2 hours thru the mountains (including 3 one lane tunnel construction delays) and still managed to get there before the dealers knew what they were doing. Couldn't buy chips at the cage so I played at a table but it took the dealer and pit boss 15 minutes to correctly count out the chips I wanted. So now I have a nice supply of brand new chips as shown below. $1 chips are $2.50, $2.50 chips are $4 and $5 chips are $7.50 and $25 chips are $30. All prices include postage and I only have a few $25's to sell. Email me if you are interested. I have shown the front and back of each chip. As a side note, one of the pit bosses said that they are trying to get Craps and Roulette approved but it was a slow process. Another strange thing was that I didn't find a single slot card anywhere after trolling the whole casino twice.
