I aggree I think, I'm confused now . Many times I have put chips on ebay for a penny. These chips usually sell for the more than the same ones I post at face. I couldn't figure why, until someone told me that the low price generated more bids and got the auction looking like it was a really 'hot' item. Also running the auction for a long time 7 days or so will generate more bids, running up the price. Selling a run-of-the-mill chip at face is risky (you may actually sell it for that), starting your Hollywood chips below face(I have seen those fo for $55+ so far) is a VERY SAFE bet. I knew you didn't expect them to close below face. Like putting a new BMW on auction at $1 and saying IF no one bids it will sell for $1. While that is true, it's highly unlikely and everyone knows it. If I want to give someone a deal I offer it publicly for a good price. If I hope to get top dollar I go to ebay and offer it at a low price for 7 days sit back and hope the price gets run up through the roof! I hope you get the $55+ for those chips, I would bid.... but I won't ever over bid certain people (Susong is one of them). I was just pulling your chain about the 'come on' line.
