I'm totally amazed that you recognized that as a person!! We've got the same postcard, and I couldn't tell WHAT it was!!

However.....after digging around in several books, I finally found one with a clear picture.... ...it isn't Vic.

Do you have "Viva Las Vegas, After hours Architecture"? If so, look at page 10, the picture on the left. It's the smallest picture I've found, but the clearest....It appears to be a prospector, weilding a pick-axe. You're seeing his left side, as he picks at the rock on the left.
