John; You are to be commended for your forthright disclosures. My guess is that your policy is not commonplace ... (in this hobby or in business in general) .... which was the basis for my factual "Does Macy's tell Gimble's" reference.
I was quite surprised that one chipper felt strong enough to say that he would never buy a chip from me because I used that line in my response to his post.... inferring that I was either Mr. Macy or Mrs. Gimble!
John; I have no "hoards" of expensive chips. I have a fairly large stock of Playboy roulettes that I purchased cheaply many years ago ... and I'm selling them cheap. I also have recently purchased a large quantity of Puerto Rico chips that I am selling cheap ... $3 for $5 chips; $4 for $25 chips; $5 for $100 chips. I have an inventory of A.C. LE's, but none that I would consider a "hoard"... nor do I have multiple extras of ANY A.C. chip that is priced above $100.
When I do have limited numbers of chips for sale, I too disclose that information to my subscribers in my A.C. Newsletter of the numbers that I have on hand. However, having said that..., I don't think that everytime I (or anyone else) purchases a quantity of chips..., that I/they are obligated to post to this bb how many of each were purchased. Others are free to disagree.
